Grand Junction, CO (May 7, 2018) – Downtown Grand Junction is pleased to announce that Caitlyn Love has been hired as the Downtown Marketing and Communications Specialist. Love was selected out of over fifty candidates for the position. Love previously served as the Downtown Event Coordinator and had been serving as the Interim Marketing and Communications Specialist since March.

“We were fortunate to have a great pool of candidates for the position, but Caitlyn’s previous experience Downtown really stood out as did her ability to connect with the Downtown community,” said Brandon Stam, Downtown Director. “The enthusiasm, leadership and integrity that she brings to the table will be an asset for Downtown Grand Junction.”

Love is a graduate of Colorado Mesa University, who completed her Bachelors in Business Administration in May of 2014. After growing up in Southeastern Wyoming, Love relocated to Grand Junction in 2012 to complete her college education and stayed in the Grand Valley due to her love for the outdoors and local culture that this area provides.

Love’s transition to the marketing and communications role will begin immediately and she will continue to be involved in Downtown events. Her new duties will be predominately focused on supporting Downtown businesses through marketing and communications efforts.

Downtown Grand Junction is comprised of both the Downtown Development Authority and the Business Improvement District and assists with marketing, communications, events, and capital improvement projects for Downtown Grand Junction.
