Downtown Grant Programs
Downtown Grand Junction has a variety of grant programs to help support downtown development. Click through to learn about the grant programs.
Facade Grant
The Facade Grant offers two tiers of funding. Tier 1 is up to $10,000 in standard facade improvements. Tier 2 is up to $30,000 for larger-scale projects.
Building Activation Grant
The GJDDA Building Activation Grant funds renovations and code-related costs to add commercial and residential uses within downtown Grand Junction, aiming to increase property value and commercial activity.
Catalyst Grant Program
The Grand Junction Downtown Development Authority (GJDDA) has implemented the Downtown Catalyst Program (DCP) to help facilitate improvements in the District that align with the Downtown Plan of Development goals and help facilitate improvements in the District. Funding is available to property and business owners in the District.
Other Incentives
The City of Grand Junction works with its economic development partners to recruit, retain, and expand business activity within the City. The City supports these partners as they perform economic development activities.

When accepting a grant from Downtown Grand Junction, the recipient agrees to several stipulations. Download the linked file for a complete list.
Mural Grant Program
Local artist, arts groups, or nonprofit organizations, can collaborate with a downtown business owner to install murals downtown. Up to $1,000 in matching funds is available for projects in the Downtown GJ district boundaries. Download the file in the link for full details.
