Downtown Grand Junction is committed to creating economically diverse and sustainable businesses in our community. The Downtown Partnership works to ensure a prosperous future and a vibrant downtown community with beneficial resources including various grant options.
Façade Improvement Grant
The Façade Improvement Program has been designed to award a portion of the funds generated by the tax increment paid by downtown property owners as an incentive program for ongoing revitalization. Improvements to the exterior façades (front, back or side) will support the purpose of the DDA to eliminate blight and promote a healthy business environment, as well as preserving the unique character of the area.
Catalyst Grant Program
The Grand Junction Downtown Development Authority (GJDDA) has implemented the Downtown Catalyst Program (DCP) to help facilitate improvements in the District that align with the Downtown Plan of Development goals and help facilitate improvements in the District. Funding is available to property and business owners in the District.
Alleyway Grant Program
The DDA recognizes that the condition of the buildings downtown form the basis of the public’s overall impression of downtown and reflects the vibrancy and historical value of the area. The Alleyway Improvement Program is designed to award a portion of funds generated by the tax increment paid by downtown property owners as an incentive program for ongoing revitalization. This matching grant program provides leverage to property owners for small and large projects that enhance properties.
