Downtown Announces Newest Late-Night Summer Event

Downtown Grand Junction is pleased to announce the newest event to the lineup – the Rhythm & Brews Summer Concert Series, presented by Rockslide Brew Pub and Restaurant, and supporting help from ANB Bank.

Enjoy Rhythm & Brews after the sun goes down! Rhythm & Brews will take place on 4th and Main during four select dates throughout the summer season – June 20, July 25,  August 22, and September 5. These dates are also dates for the Market on Main. Rhythm & Brews begins immediately after the Market finishes at 8:30pm.

During the nights of Rhythm & Brews, the Thursday Market will be an open beer garden from 3rd-7th Street on Main from 5:30pm-8:30pm, giving you the ability to wander around the market with a cold Rockslide brew in your hand to enjoy the vendors, local food trucks, and smaller scale entertainment. Stay until 8:30pm on the evenings of the concert series and enjoy the large stage on 4th and Main playing live entertainment and the continued beer garden until 10:00pm.

‘We’re always hearing from locals and visitors that they’d like to have more events Downtown’, says Caitlyn Love, Marketing and Communications Specialist for Downtown Grand Junction. ‘Our office is comprised of a small staff, so when we’re looking at new opportunities for events, our goal is to utilize our existing resources that we already have to bring events to the community. By adding Rhythm & Brews to the end of four markets, we’re able to have market goers come to two events in one evening and stay downtown for the beer garden and live entertainment – both of which we’ve heard are much wanted downtown.’

The beer garden is proud to partner with COPMOBA as the local non-profit organization pouring the beer for this concert series for the first three dates. Colorado Mesa University Alumni Association is the proud partner for the September 5 date.

The lineup for Rhythm & Brews will be announced soon – stay tuned!
