In its second year, Downtown Grand Junction joins forces with Colorado Mesa University to bring students, alumni, and community members to the heart of Grand Junction for a night of bikes, brews, costumes, and music.
Tour de Rock, modeled after the ever-popular “Tour de Fat”, encourages CMU students, alumni, and community members to utilize the 10th street bike path that connects the campus to downtown, while dressing up and sporting fun, creative costumes. Upon arriving downtown, participants will be surrounded by a variety of food trucks, a beer garden, and nearly three hours of live music on the intersection of 4th and Main.
Rockslide Brewery, the title sponsor and official beer provider of the event, will be serving their traditional brews, along with a new beer created and named to commemorate Maverick pride in the Grand Valley.
CMU students, alumni, and community members are invited to partake in this new, unique event that Downtown Grand Junction and Colorado Mesa University are proud to be hosting.
