The Downtown Farmers’ Market is summertime’s signature event in Grand Junction, and is a showcase of farm products from the Western Slope and around Colorado. Sponsored by the Downtown Grand Junction Business Improvement District, Grand West Kia, Grand West Hyundai, and Bellco Credit Union with support from Yes Dental Care, the Downtown Farmers’ Market is a summer-long community event series drawing an estimated 5,000 visitors per week.

With a renewed focus on food, products, and art grown or made in Colorado; Downtown businesses; local nonprofits and local bands; the Farmers’ Market is a both local’s favorite and and attraction for visitors from across the country and around the world!

Local entertainment is sponsored by Atlasta Solar Center, and weekly entertainment and event highlights are available in the Wednesday edition of The Daily Sentinel.

Free parking is available in the parking garage on Rood between 4th and 5th Streets. Remember, per City ordinance, no pets are allowed at Downtown events.

The Downtown Farmers’ Market accepts applications from those selling food or food products grown or made in our region, local art, a limited number of nonprofits, and our sponsors. Farmers and purveyors of local farm products are always welcome at the Market!

New this year is the Battle of the Bands hosted by Triple Play Records in celebration of Record Store Day on Saturday, April 18, 2015. We have thirty 15 minute spots available starting at 10:00am and going until 6:00pm in front of Triple Play on Main Street. Although playing in the Battle of the Bands is not a requirement to play Farmers Market, we will guarantee a number of PAID Farmers Market gigs at the Battle of the Bands. So come on out and show us what you’ve got!
To get signed up for the Battle of the Bands, contact Matt Cesario at or check out the Triple Play Record Store Day Event Page on Facebook for more information.
If you do not participate in the Battle of the Bands, you will be contacted on April 24 about your acceptance into Farmers Market this year.
