In September, Main Street rumbles with the sound of hundreds of motors as participants pour into Downtown Grand Junction for the annual Fuoco Motor Co. Car Show. Vehicle owners bring antique cars, muscle cars, classic cars and even motorcycles to display.
Car owners and spectators from all over the Western United States visit with each other, talk cars, and participate in a friendly competition for great prizes!
Participants vie for awards in the following categories:
Best in Show- top 5, chosen by car show entrants
Most likely to get a speeding ticket
Car that travelled the most miles to attend the show
Young Owner Award
Fuoco’s Most Desired Trade-in
Big O Tires Rad Rubber Award
Prizes include plates and plaques, and all participants registering before September 15 will receive a Downtown Car Show t-shirt or hat. Participants are encouraged to drive one of the nearby Scenic Byways for a Sunday cruise. Go to Visit Grand Junction for travel information and to book hotel rooms.
Online registration opens Friday, August 3. Prices are $35 per vehicle until September 8. After September 8, price increases to $40 per vehicle.
