Get on your dancing shoes! We are excited to announce the first wave of bands for the 2022 Rides and Vibes Downtown Music Fest. Saturday night catch Mark Broussard on the main stage at 4th and Main Street. Mark’s a mix of funk, blues, R&B, and pop. He’s got a huge back catalog of hits like “Love And Happiness” and “Home,” plus often performs Motown covers in his sets.
Saturday support comes from Denver standouts The Yawpers and The Patient Zeros, and local standouts Wowzers and Ricky Bobby and the Hellcat Fury.
The music festival starts off Friday night with a bang. All the way from Wells, Main comes hip-hop artist Spose! The “I’m Awesome” and “Knocking on Wood” rapper returns to Grand Junction, this time closing out Friday night on Main Street. Spose’s catchy and sometimes humorous lyrics will make for a memorable Friday night.
Friday support also comes from Salt Lake City funk outfit Funk & Gonzo, and local mainstays Zolophy and Wave 11. Soul Habit is also slated to perform on Sunday.
The Rides and Vibes Downtown Music Fest is a completely free event! Come down that weekend to watch crit mountain bike racing, sample local beers from the beer garden, check out outdoor vendors, food trucks, and more!
