What do you get the traveler in the family? The one who is always out adventuring city to city, state to state or country to country. You always have that one person in the family who has a love for traveling and each year you findyourself stuck trying to figure out what to get them for a gift. Personally speaking, I am the one in the family who loves to travel so I am here to tell you guys what gifts travelers are really hoping for, for Christmas. I decided to break it down into three sections of gift ideas.

Interactive Gifts:

Buying materials to create a travel journal or scrapbook can be a timeless and fun gift, like this one from The Robins Nest. You can also buy remade journals too if you find a great theme for them. This way they can take it everywhere they go.
Playing cards are always a good gift for travelers, whether they are on a train or a plane or staying at different hotels. Cards give them something to take up time in-between locations and to make a few friends along the way. Found at Robins Nest!

Meaningful Gifts:

What better way to show you care than to personalize a type of jewelry piece that he or she can wear on their journey. Whether it’s a ring, necklace, bracelet, or more, at Cooley Designs (located in Robins Nest), you can get a custom made jewelry piece for the traveler in the family.

Simple Gifts:

Lastly on the last minute shopping guide, getting something that is simple for a traveler is meaningful too. A gift that may help them out or something they could use while traveling. Here is a list of simpler gifts to get the traveler, and you can find all of these items Downtown!

  • Books (romance, mystery, comic etc.)
  • Create aplaylist for long rides on their Spotify
  • Traveling kit ( brush, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner etc.)
  • Keychain
  • Neckpillow
  • “saying”socks
  • Headphones

  • Coffee or Tea mugs

These are just a few of many gifts you could get a traveler for Christmas and they are all right here in downtown Grand Junction, so come on down, walk the beautiful lit up streets and enjoy some nice coffee or tea and shop your hearts out.
