“Symphony in Bloom” Presented by Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra

The Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra (GJSO) would like to invite you to our performance of “Symphony in Bloom,” a concert featuring a small ensemble of our orchestra featuring the Colorado Mesa University Vocal Arts Ensemble under the direction of Adam Kluck. GJSO is please to showcase this performance twice, once on Saturday, May 1, at 7:30pm, and the second on Sunday, May 2, at 3:00pm.


GJSO is proud to present this eclectic assortment of classical music featuring Mozart and Faure. Selections Include: Albononi’s Adagio in G minor, Mozart’s Symphony #25 in G minor, and two pieces from Faure including Cantique de Jean Ricine and Agnus Dei & in Paradisum from Requiem.

During intermission, GJSO Music Director and Conductor, Charles Latshaw will share his insight on the pieces in his famous “Intermission Talks.” Learn more about what makes this music particularly special during these times, and why Latshaw picked them for this performance.
