Parade of Lights presented by Bank of Colorado

The Parade of Lights is the biggest parade of the year! Thousands line Main Street as lighted entries enchant viewers. Get in the holiday spirit and enjoy our beautiful Downtown. Be sure to also check out the shop windows of our wonderful Downtown businesses!

The 2026 Parade of Lights will take place on Saturday, December 5 at 5:00pm.

Note on Parking: On November 19, 2014, City Council approved a ban on parking on Main Street during the Parade of Lights. This is primarily in the interest of safety, though visibility on the parade route and a reduction of exhaust fumes will also be improved. Parking will not be allowed along the parade route as of 2:00 p.m. on Dec. 6. Any vehicles remaining along the parade route will be towed to a lot a few blocks away, where they can be retrieved at no cost to the owner. Please park on a side street or in the parking garage at 4th and Rood and walk over to enjoy the festivities!

The 2026 Parade of  Lights registration will open on October 19th at 12:00 pm. It is first-come, first-served, and will be capped at 80 entries.
