The Parade of Lights is the biggest parade of the year! Thousands line Main Street as more than 100 lighted entries enchant viewers. Get in the holiday spirit and enjoy our beautiful Downtown. Be sure to also check out the shop windows of our wonderful Downtown businesses!
The 2023 Parade of Lights will take place on Saturday, December 2.
Note on Parking: On November 19, 2014, City Council approved a ban on parking on Main Street during the Parade of Lights. This is primarily in the interest of safety, though visibility on the parade route and a reduction of exhaust fumes will also be improved. Parking will not be allowed along the parade route as of 2:00 p.m. on Dec. 3. Any vehicles remaining along the parade route will be towed to a lot a few blocks away, where they can be retrieved at no cost to the owner. Please park on a side street or in the parking garage at 4th and Rood and walk over to enjoy the festivities!
Click on each heading to be re-directed to the float and vendor registration pages. Float registrations are limited to the first 100 entries, so don’t delay entering! Vendor applications will close on Friday, November 10 at 5:00pm.
Float registration will be posted here on October 23 at noon.
Vendor registration will be posted here on October 23 at noon.
Please note that only approved food vendors are allowed at the Parade of Lights (no hot chocolate stands, bake sales, etc.) due to health regulations. More information here.
