Come by CRYSTAL Books and Gifts, during this years first weekly Off The Shelf Author Series on Thursday evenings during the Downtown Farmers Market. It is free to the public and is a great opportunity to meet local authors while enjoying informative and entertaining presentations by them.
On Thursday, July 12th, from 6pm to 7pm, K.L. (Karen) McKee, Author of Miracle, a Novella, In Name Only and Worth Waiting For
will talk about the writing process, where ideas come from, and why she wrote a book about Vietnam and the soldiers who fought there.
McKee has had a passion for writing since she was a young girl. After raising two rambunctious boys and earning her B.A. in English from Regis University, she renewed her desire to write faith-based stories. Karen worked in the Reference Center of her local library for twenty-nine years, retiring to pursue writing full time. She and her husband reside in Western Colorado.
