OFF THE SHELF – August 30, 2018
Come by CRYSTAL Books and Gifts to attend their “Off The Shelf Author Series” on Thursday evenings throughout the summer during the Downtown Farmer’s Market. It is a free event that is open to the public and is a great opportunity to meet local authors while enjoying informative and entertaining presentations by them.
On Thursday, August 30th., from 6pm to 7pm, the store will be hosting local Author, Sally Crum. Sally Crum, Archeologist and Author of Race to the Moonrise, Race to the River and People of the Red Earth and The Night the Stars Fell, will present a hands on exploration about the region’s original inhabitants’ culture – from prehistoric mammoth hunters to the historic Ute Tribes.
Sally Crum has lived in Western Colorado and the Four Corners Area for over thirty years. The majority of her work has involved archaeological surveys for private contractors, the Navajo Nation, and the U.S. Forest Service.
Join us at CRYSTAL Books and Gifts at 439 Main Street in Downtown Grand Junction. Take a break from the hot temperatures on the street and drop in for a few minutes or the entire hour.
