Community Cinema: The Homestretch

For 1.6 million youth in the U.S., the greatest obstacle in the path to high school graduation isn’t homework – it’s homelessness. This month’s Community Cinema-Grand Junction, CO film The Homestretch follows 3 homeless teens fighting to graduate from high school and make a future for themselves.

Join us Wednesday, March 18th at 6:30pm at the Mesa County LibrariesCentral Library Community Room for a free sneak preview screening followed by a discussion with representatives from The House teen shelter as well as District 51, psychologists and outreach workers to get a handle on the problem here in Mesa County and find out what you can do to help!
