This class is designed for middle school through high school aged students. Do you like to draw or paint, but don’t do either very often? Why not begin to “sketch on the go,” and carry a sketchbook around at all times — on trips, strolling down Main Street, sitting in your back yard? Betsy will share with you the fun of sketching (using pencil, pen, colored pencils and water colors) wherever you happen to be so you can create “memory books”. We will cover such topics as how to overcome self-consciousness about working in public, how to organize your art supplies to carry with you, choosing what to sketch and much more. Betsy will share her many wonderful sketch books that she has been creating for several years, in which she has captured Paris in ink and watercolor, or Colorado National Monument in colored pencil. Class will venture outdoors around Main Street! PS. You do not have to be a “good” artist (whatever that is!) to take this class or to sketch in public! With Betsy McLoughlin.
This class is $50.00 plus $20.00 supply fee paid to the instructor. To get a spot click on the link below.
