Costumes, fan meet-ups, a panel discussion, and a variety of activities for kids, teens, and adults will highlight the second annual Mesa County Libraries Comic Con from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at the Central Library, Fifth Street and Grand Avenue in Grand Junction.
Comic Con is a celebration of comic books, comic art, pop culture, science fiction, fantasy, anime, manga, books, graphic novels, movies, and more. Last year’s inaugural library Comic Con attracted more than 1,600 people, and this year’s event is expected to draw even more. In addition to a day filled with events and activities, Comic Con will feature a number of local comic-related vendors. There’s something for everyone at Comic Con!
The event is open to everyone at no charge, and attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite characters!
