Allison’s Husband Shopping Guide

Even though my family makes wish lists for Christmas every year, I like to find a few things that I know they would like so they’re extra surprised on the big morning. Here are several things that I know my husband (or yours) would love from some of our great Downtown businesses.

Willow Creek Herbs and Teas has new gift sets of these delish maple syrups. Smoked Chili is right up my husband’s alley.

Willow Creek also has every kind of spice you could imagine – perfect for the BBQ enthusiast in your family.

I don’t think anyone would complain about a growler of Rockslide brew under the tree.

We have so many trails in Western Colorado, I love that there’s a book detailing all of them at Grand Valley Books.

A Chemex is a great gift for a coffee lover in your life. Kiln has everything you’d need to make a great cup of coffee.

When you purchase a turntable from Triple Play Records you get 10% off used records for life! That’s a gift that keeps on giving.

A new rod and reel from Western Anglers would surprise the socks off the fly fishing enthusiast in your life.

Western Anglers has an impressive selection of hats and outdoor clothing – for more than just fly fishermen too!

Some husbands need a little help with their fashion. These boots from Brown’s Shoe Fit are both rugged and fantastic looking.

Brown’s also carries Chacos which are a must for anyone who loves to play in the water.

There will definitely be a Yeti Rambler from Summit Canyon Mountaineering in my husband’s stocking this year. (I hope there’s one in mine too!)

I love this water resistant backpack from Summit Canyon.

Did you know that Raw Canvas now carries clothing? It was hard to decide which tee I liked best, they were all so cool.

Mutual Friends, Downtown’s new skate shop has some really cool coats in stock right now.

Out West Books has some great books and if they don’t have what you’re looking for, they can order it!

What’s a better stocking stuffer than bacon flavored candy from Candytime Shoppe??
